Let me tell you something important right at the beginning.

We want you to be HEALTHY and STRONG.

And in the long term. Until old age. That sounds obvious at first, but it isn't at all. The idea for our Kraftkraut product came about because we unfortunately discovered that many suppliers make unhealthy compromises.

Why we founded Kraftkraut.

Some supplements work with substances that give you a short kick, but do more harm than good in the long term. These include, for example, high doses of stimulants such as caffeine, hormone-like nootropics, or various sleeping pills.

This will give you a brief success, but it will disappear very quickly. And the big bill comes afterwards. At Kraftkraut we don't make false compromises. We do not differentiate between performance and long-term health.

That's why we design our products so that your body and mind find their natural and optimal balance. Like a plant that has the optimal conditions. Completely natural and from within.

Without harmful chemicals. Without false promises. And without tricks that will do you more harm than good in the long run.

My story (the Kraftkraut founder.)

2013 was AN EXTREME year for me. With a single bang, not only did my relationship vanish into thin air, I also had to leave behind my entire circle of friends and everything I had built up professionally up to that point.

I was on my own. My athletic performance declined. My libido was dwindling (my testosterone was in the basement, which hurt my ego even more) and I had severe food intolerances. I could hardly eat anything. I was tired in the morning and my thoughts went crazy at night. Could not sleep. I was pretty exhausted.

I tried very, very many things during this time. All sorts of doctors consulted, medications, nutritional supplements, sleeping pills, meditation, biophotons, shamans, autogenic training and much, much more. Some things helped a little, but they weren't the solution.

My frustration continued to grow. Even though I thought of myself as someone who knew a lot about health. After all, I was a trained pharmacist and worked as a health coach myself. But I couldn't help myself.

At some point I came across a really good alternative practitioner through an acquaintance who first checked my nervous system and did a really intensive analysis of me and my nutrient levels.

The result was clear. My body was under constant stress and my nutrient stores were completely empty. 

The bitter pill I had to swallow.

During this time I learned an important lesson. If we are chronically ill, we are responsible for it. This may sound harsh, but it is an important insight. If you are responsible for your own unpleasant situation, then you can put yourself in a better situation. That gave me the peace and confidence to look at my situation again with a fresh perspective. I realized that I needed to calm down before anything improved.

During this time I also fortunately discovered the effects of adaptogens, especially ashwagandha. That was really a blessing because I suddenly went through life with more peace and strength. I was able to fall asleep better in the evening and felt so strong from within.

In addition, my naturopath mixed me a very high dose multivitamin and superfood preparation, which helped my body to replenish itself with all the important nutrients. There really was (almost) everything the body needs in it. Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, medicinal herbs, superfoods and all important amino acids. The product was also a game changer for me.

Combined with regular walks, a weekly bath with Dead Sea salt and just having fun with friends and family every now and then, after a few months I was stronger than ever. My libido was like it was in my early 20s. I gained a lot of muscle mass and overall I had more and more energy and joy in life.

I really noticed how I was getting stronger every day. It didn't happen overnight, but it got a little better every day. And after a few months I set new records in the gym.

Today I am convinced that if your body has everything it needs and your psyche is in good balance, then you can achieve top performance and recover from serious illnesses.

On the hunt for the best raw materials

Excited about the positive effect that adaptogens and the alternative practitioner's nutrient mix had on my life, I dug deeper into the matter.

Unfortunately, most people suffer from nutritional deficiencies and negative influences on the nervous system. It also became increasingly difficult to get really good, fresh quality adaptogens. 

So I flew to South America and Asia to take a closer look at the farms and manufacturing process. If the soil on a farm is poorly managed, the plants and herbs that grow on it will also be of inferior quality.

It took a few months until I found the quality that I was 100% convinced of. But it was worth it. Following this, our powerful herb was created.

We now have more products in our shop and have grown into a team. We make each of our products with the same care and idealism as our first herb.

Our aim is to always improve and learn.

We prefer to use natural active ingredient complexes such as those found in herbs and plants. All of our products are tested for purity (e.g. fungi, heavy metals, pesticides).

Because we want to know where our raw materials come from, we have direct contact with the producers and local farmers.

Giving back to nature

Because nature and its treasures are important to us, we give nature back what it needs. We donate 10% of our profits to preserving the Amazon rainforest and planting trees.

To do this, we partner directly with shamans and conservationists in Brazil to ensure that this money goes where it is supposed to.

For our product Elementary we are still looking for a suitable partner for a project against world hunger and for malnourished children.

We are also planning completely plastic-free packaging made of glass/wood for the next batch.
